Hey all!
As you know my boyfriend has a 9yr old and we have attempted to schedule family hikes to no avail. I know from talking to some of you and from rsvps, many of you have or know kids that need some outdoor activity. I have added a poll to the Poll Link on the Home page of our site. Especially if you have kids or know of kids you might bring to an event, please take a moment and respond. I am trying to determine ages of kids in the group, level of interest in their participation, and what type of activities would peak their interest in an effort to spice up our day hikes or add activities like Kayaking to them that might get them to come along. Thanks for taking the time to respond so I can determine if there is an interest and how to attempt this again this time successfully. Desiree PS The Zoo Walk on the 28th would be a great place to bring your kids. We already have a couple coming so feel free. |

I have a 10 year old and thought this would be a great activity to do together, but frankly hiking in the snow and cold has not appealled to me but we will be joining in as soon as the weather improves. My child is fairly experienced and can hike quite a few miles. Hope that helps for activities. I am not sure about the zoo yet, I have "mommy" plans that weekend right now.
