Hocking Hills is fantastic to hike through in the Fall. We have secured a site at the Small Group Youth campsite. This is the BEST place to stay in terms of location to the trail, and for not having tons of people traipsing by your tents. It does NOT have bathrooms or showers but it does have pretty nice outhouses.

I have a site reserved for Friday and Saturday. Combined, based on us having 10 people, the cost should be $2.50/person/night. Please sign up on the site, but to be fair I will consider you "in" when I receive your $5.
Based on when Ron and I stayed here earlier this year we should be able to find firewood easily. Bringing our own firewood from Hamilton or Butler County is strictly forbidden due to the Emerald Ash Borer invasion.

The plan is for us to do joint cooking of Dinner on Saturday, and if people want, prepare meals such as lunch or breakfast. If people prefer to opt out of that, it's fine.

Here is a link to the campsite location I believe it is #2 on this map but will confirm-->

On Saturday without a plan, we hiked out of our campsite. We hiked 13.1 miles and got to see some incredible fall colors and scenery. This ad hoc hike took us through Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, across Queer Creek, Old Man's Cave, and Rose Lake. On Sunday we did 3 hikes totaling 6.9 miles. We hiked Conkles Hollow rim trail and gorge trail, Rock House, and Cantwell Cliffs.
    •  Fantastic campsite, right on the trail, yet pretty secluded(but with some nice neighbors to help with some fire starter coals. There was good Fall color, the trails were in outstanding shape. weather for hiking was ideal.
