This is the first of our winter hike/potlucks this year at Winton Woods. Join us for a 3-4-mile moderate hike on the wooded trails, with a potluck dinner afterwards in the Kestrel Point shelter. Hiking boots are recommended, since we’ll be walking on trails, and they may be muddy. For the potluck, bring a dish to share, your beverage, and a plate/utensils. Firewood for a fire in the shelter fireplace after the hike is welcomed, too (that is, if you live in Hamilton County – because of the Emerald Ash Borer, firewood shouldn’t be transported between Ohio counties).

Meet in the parking lot next to Kestrel Point shelter, which is located near the Visitor Center.

Directions:
If going north on Winton Road, take a left at the entrance on Valleyview Drive and take the first left, going past the Visitor Center to the Kestrel Point shelter parking lot.

    •  Fantastic weather, great company, and the best after-hike potluck I've been to so far -- lots of yummy food!
    •  My heartfelt thanx to the forces responsible for the impeccable weather. These same forces were obviously guiding potluck contributors in the perfect array of well-balanced meal selections. Thanx to all for the comviviality. George

    •  Perfect day for a wonderful hike. The potluck afterward was fun, too.
    •  We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day. The weather was picture perfect. Having a potluck dinner afterwards gave everyone a chance to get to know each other a little better. I really enjoyed the hike.
