With such a long waiting list for Spring Grove, I decided to offer a different opportunity. If you can't get into the 1pm group or if you would prefer a later time, thus opening a spot for someone who can only do the 1pm walk, this is the Spring Grove hike for you!

We will meet at the Visitors Center at 3pm for a easy to moderate walk around the cemetery. (approx 3 miles) While faster paced walkers are always welcome to go on their own, as there are maps available at the Visitors Center, please be advised, this hike will be geared more towards slower paced walkers and beginners. Expect stops to take pictures and explore famous headstones.

After we can head over to the Comet for burritos if we choose.


The predicted weather for Sunday is a high of 28 with flurries, so dress warmly!

    Hi D, Thanks for setting up and leading the trip at the last minute and we all enjoyed the ride on your boat afterwards. Does anyone know if that was Joe Wagner on the boat in front of us to the right? Jim

    fyi: if we have a motley crowd, I will simply divide us into a fast group and a slow group to avoid overwhelming the park.

    If you are on the waiting list or have rsvp'd for Mary Jo's hike and you are doing this one instead, please remember to update your rsvp since she has limited room for her hike to give those on the waiting list who can't go later a chance to get in. Thanks bunches.
