I saw that red water bottle and I am not sure who took it, but I am sure someone did to hang on to it til next time.
I am missing a cutting board and a mid size paring knife if anyone comes across that.
I'm missing a red metal water bottle I had when we first got to the campsite. In all the craziness with unloading Jill's truck I set it down and forgot about it. If someone happens to have found it, let me know.
Hey Zack I'd be up for that. I'll text you or better yet talk to you when I arrive in the morning.
If you would like to join us for a Friday afternoon hike, just let me know: 513-201-7721
I'll only camp Fri and Sat, so if someone wants my spot for Sunday night, it is opening up.
A family fun movie is scheduled for Saturday night from 9-11pm at the Campground amphitheater located near the pool area and main shower house in the campground
If you can no longer attend, please change your RSVP to "No" so you give others a chance to go and time to plan. Several people have asked to bring extra folks. The site only permits 30 people per night. Right now I have the limit set to 40, so I am already planning on some no shows and some folks only coming for 1 or 2 nights. Unfortunately, we have a fairness issue if folks are sitting on the waiting list and other people on the "Yes" list want to add extra folks not originally on their RSVP.
That's my understanding.
The limit of 40 is number of people, not number of tents, right?
Howdy campers! Just a friendly reminder if you are predominantly a fair weather hiker and haven't been out much this season. DON'T FORGET some sort of INSECT REPELLENT. Especially if you are a favorite on their menu (as I tend to be). Both Kiwi (the wonder dog) and I have already been bitten by mosquitoes and she has provided transportation for a few ticks (and that has been since last Thurs). The conditions (read: rain, mild temps) are such that the bugs seem to especially pesky this year.
What is the cost for the weekend? Just called to see & was told it was $60/night for G3 with a 30 person limit. I've read lots of messages & seems people on the hike want to stay & others want to have others in their tent. Will this be OK? How strict are the rangers? Is anyone planning on kayaking? I'm not sure if it's possible, but would probably need someone to help me carry my kayak.
Forgot to leave my phone number 614-580-7697. Plannin on all 3 nights. Thanks
Hey Scotty - thanks for organizing this! Do you know if the pool is open?
Does anyone want to car pool? I live West in Hamilton Co, so anywhere would be closer to Hocking. Planning on camping Fri, Sat & Sun. I have a Rav & have room.
My RSVP is still the same (me +1) Fri,Sat and Sun nights. I have a friend on the waiting list that needs a spot. If anyone has their own spot and has room for one more please let me know. Thanks!
There is often a fair amount of turn over on the RSVP list, especially for camping. If you are far down on the wait list and want to make other arrangements you might be able to find other camping options at http://www.1800hocking.com/hockinghillscampgrounds
.
Can we request for Kiwi to bake chocolate chip cookies?
