Let's meet between 10:15 and 10:30am on Sat., Feb. 20th at Fosters parking lot to hike 4 miles to Loveland and have lunch at "The Works" restaurant and then hike the 4 miles return trip for a total of 8 miles. Their website is: www.theworkspizza.com and the food is yummy!! We should arrive there about noon and we should be back to our vehicles by about 2:30 or 3:00pm.

You may also park at the "Train Stop Inn" Restaurant (aka "Monkey Bars") if the Fosters parking lot is full.

The hike is completely flat. Depending on how many people attend, we can probably splilt into a faster and slower group.

*Please update your attendance status before the day of the hike, so that I may let the restaurant know how many to expect.

The following directions are the easiest route if you've never been here before:

275 - exit Montgomery Road - travel North - pass Fields Ertel - pass Columbia Road - cross bridge that goes over the Little Miami River and turn left onto Old 3 C Hwy. after crossing bridge - at bottom of the hill is the bike path and parking. The website is www.littlemiamibiketrail.com. Please check the website for directions also!

I'd like to arrange a biking event this spring on the bike trail!!

By joining this group and attending Tri-State Hiking Club events you are agreeing to the club's LEGAL WAIVER at http://hiking.meetup.....

Hope to see you there! If you have any questions, call my cell: 612-8755.

WEATHER: As of Tuesday, they're calling for a 30% chance of light snow, so we're still on! Check back on Friday, in case that changes!

Not going to do the snow. Sounds like it will be very wet snow and no it's not clear. I drive by it every day.

Should we expect the trail to be cleared of snow?
