What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")

I was walking on the Newtown end of the Little Miami Bike Trail and from the bridge got to watch an awesome lightning storm heading my way. The effect of the strong wind on the river was wild too. It was a warm summer day and I walked in the storm.
