Introduction
Hi everyone! Looking forward to joining you - and when someone tells me to "take a hike", I'll know where to go ;-)
What is your favorite thing to do in the outdoors? (keep it rated PG, your mother might read this)
Canoeing, walking my dogs, riding my bike, exploring new parks, tried camping recently and loved it...and more! Cross country skiing and oh yes, hiking. All are fun to do alone, but even better with friends.
Where are you from? (if you've lived lots of places, list them)
Born and raised in Upstate NY; lived in Dayton, OH, Germany, Boston, Washington DC areas.
What do you do for a living?
I am a nurse with a flexible schedule.
What is your favorite place to hike in the Cincinnati / Tri-State area?
Haven't found a fav yet, though Germantown has a great MetroPark.
What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")
Hoping to make crazy hiking memories with the group. Do we have to bring our own bears?
