Introduction
I love the outdoors, everything about nature. I also love walking and hiking.
What is your favorite thing to do in the outdoors? (keep it rated PG, your mother might read this)
My favorite thing to do is taking my camera on nature walks, hoping to get some good pictures of birds or any animals.
Where are you from? (if you've lived lots of places, list them)
I am originally from St. Louis and still have most of my family there.
What do you do for a living?
I am a teacher for special needs preschoolers.
What is your favorite place to hike in the Cincinnati / Tri-State area?
I like to go to the walking/hiking paths in Liberty Township after work. They are short so it is perfect as a "wind-down" after some long days.
What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")
I don't know about crazy, but I was almost trampled by a buck that I must have startled. I was trying to be very quiet to get a picture of a heron. I was creeping farther into tall grass, when that buck, full set of antlers. leaped out.

Catherine, Just an FYI, the hike is canceled, it seems not everyone got the message from meetup. We are planning on carpooling to the January hike, if you would like to go to that one also.
BTW, I just read your profile; you might want to look into the OVCC meetup group, we are a bunch of casual to professional photographers. They are really good about having interesting and instructional meetups for all levels. There are a lot of nature photographers in the group! -
