I enjoy planning and leading urban hikes with an emphasis on the historical aspects of the location. I plan routes that I wish someone else would have done years ago when I was growing up here in the area.
Laid-back kayaking is my number one activity. I call it holistic kayaking. Night time "moonpadles" are my favorite paddling along the stretch of the Ohio River through downtown Cincinnati.
Thanks to 37 years being affiliated with the Air Force, I have always been moving. I call Northern Kentucky "home" but reside in the Cincinnati area.
Safety, mishap investigation, occupational health.
Any place with an historic past. Learning of new places all the time.
When I was very young, I hiked up Mount Elbert in Colorado, without planning or preparation. Surviving several near disastrous events, the evening was capped off when I fell through a beaver dam. That is why I stress safety when I head outdoors.
Excellent.

Good to hear from somebody so quickly. I just told my daughter how excited I am to have heard about this group. Thanks for the 'hello'.
