Introduction
Hello, I'm John and I am interested in getting in better shape for snow skiing and climbing Mt Kilimanjaro (on my bucket list) and making new friends to go with me.
What is your favorite thing to do in the outdoors? (keep it rated PG, your mother might read this)
Hop in the convertible and cruise!!! This is why I need to hike more!!!!
Where are you from? (if you've lived lots of places, list them)
Mostly from Cincinnasty!
What do you do for a living?
Ex-industrial arts teacher, ex-carpenter, ex-handyman, now posing as an industrial maintenance man.
What is your favorite place to hike in the Cincinnati / Tri-State area?
As long as the weather is good any place works for me.
What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")
While hiking and camping in Red River Gorge years ago someone in another camping/drinking group fell off a cliff at night and we found his body in the morning. A sad ending for that trip.

Not a problem. I just got more exercise and had an adventure. Climbing over the wall was actually fun. Just added to a great evening. I enjoyed the company of all.
