Hiking 101 demos "maybes" deleted. My apolgy

"Hey all! We had 3 folks choose maybe for the hiking 101 demo before we realized we had left it on as an option. We deleted the option to prevent further maybes but the original maybes stayed on the page. ... MoreThis caused some confusion and some folks started rsvping yes then writing maybe in comments. We are not allowing maybes as this event is limited and maybes will hold a spot from a true yes as maybes are counted as a yes in the event count. Unfortunately, I updated the 3 rsvp's to end the confusion without realizing I couldn't email them to tell them why I deleted them. I remembered Debbie, but couldn't recall the other 2. I hope you see this and know it was nothing personal. There is still plenty of room. My intent was to email you and tell you to go back in and change to a definite yes or no. I am sorry you just got an email telling you that your rsvp was removed without any explanation. Per chance, if anyone knows of or hears about the these folks asking what they did to be kicked out of the event, please direct them to the message board or me. It was my error. No one was kicked out. I was trying to adjust the event to prevent further yesses with maybes in comments. Please remember if you rsvp yes and decide not to attend, please update your rsvp so others can get in. Any no shows may be subject to be banned from my future hikes and events if we have a waiting list and folks are denied to opportunity to attend. Desiree "

"I am sorry. There were 3 maybes that I deleted. 2 of them were done incorrectly and now I don't know who they were to email them to update their rsvp to yes or no because we are not allowing maybes...."

"Please order your tickets at the address above in the first paragraph. The more tickets we sell, the cheaper are tickets become. I"m not sure but it looks like they may even go down this year once we reach a certain threshold."

Cincinnati Zoo Discount Meals and Group Discount Site-use anytime with or without the group

"Hey all! There have been no changes to our Zoo plans. However, I have signed us up for group discounts at the Zoo. Unfortunately, due to the special promotion, the group discount price is the same. ... MoreStill, you can purchase special meal packages for lunch at a reduced rate. In order for us to get the best rates, we have to buy more tickets. Each year they see how many tickets your group bought the year before and if you buy a lot, you get a better and better price. Currently, our regular group price during the regular season will be $11 for adults instead of the regular rate of $14. Right now you can buy your $7/4.50 ticket and special meal packages at this page rather than at the door. So, please if you can, go this link and buy your discounted tickets and meals so we can get credit for using the group discount site. The half price ticket is available there so even though you are not getting a larger discount, it would still help our group if you purchased your tickets there. The site is https://tickets.cinci.... In the box where it asks for your store name, enter HikeZoo to enter. Please note you can use this discount page at anytime of the year with or without the group, so please save it to your favorites and use it anytime you have friends or family in town. Feel free to share the info with others not in the group because the more we buy, the less our tickets will be for zoo events next year. As a group, we generally hit the zoo a couple times a year. Thanks. I've updated this Meetup. For more details, see the full listing: http://www.tristatehi... When: Sunday, February 28, 2010 10:00 AM Where: Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden 3400 Vine St Cincinnati , OH 45220 Admission: $7.00 per person If the changes affect your plans to attend, please take a moment to update your RSVP. (You can RSVP "No" or "Maybe" as well as "Yes".) You can always get in touch with me through the "Contact Organizer" link on Meetup: http://www.tristatehi... "
