Introduction

Hi, I'm Scotty your intrepid organizer.

What is your favorite thing to do in the outdoors? (keep it rated PG, your mother might read this)

Just being in the woods tromping around. I prefer being off trail, and just soaking in the great outdoors. Oh, and picnics are good, got to have food. Yea, then a nap is good after eating, so bring a sleeping bag, and campfires are nice at night...

Where are you from? (if you've lived lots of places, list them)

Originally from Lancaster Ohio, went to college in New York (West Point), lived in Germany for 4 years, Missouri for 1 year, Columbus Ohio for my MBA at OSU, Cincinnati for a few years, Puerto Rico (on the beach for 2 years), and now back here again.

What do you do for a living?

I work for a little soap company in town called P&G, but you have probably never heard of them.

What is your favorite place to hike in the Cincinnati / Tri-State area?

I'd probably say Red River Gorge in KY, but anyplace I get to hike with you is a great place in my book (is that sappy or what)

What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")

Oh there are so many (I never did find that pair of pants). Some fun, and others less so (I was in the Army so "hiking" was not always a recreational activity). I was never chased by a bear, but I have been chased by a herd of wild elephants.
