Introduction

I'd like to hike with you soon!

What is your favorite thing to do in the outdoors? (keep it rated PG, your mother might read this)

Appreciating the wonder of it all (and trying to capture it with my camera.)

Where are you from? (if you've lived lots of places, list them)

Prairie Village, KS; Tempe, AZ; San Diego, CA; Carlsbad, CA; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati and New Richmond, OH and staying (although I dream of winters spent in Borrego Springs, CA)

What do you do for a living?

Physician and Director of Women's Health Partnership, a solo gynecology practice.

What is your favorite place to hike in the Cincinnati / Tri-State area?

I'm a California dreamer-Lake Tahoe, Borrego Springs, or ANY beach... In Cincy, probably the Cincinnati Nature Center is the autumn.

What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")

The craziest stuff always seems to involve animal encounters; most recently while photographing ibexes at Hohe Tauern (Austria) they approached VERY close, and needing to protect my dinner from two large aggressive swans who floated to my feet at Lake Bled (Slovenia).

Additional Information

"The Tri-State Hiking club has been an important part of my life for the past two years. To enjoy nature with "kindred spirits" is such a joy! My trail name- Hiker Chick."
