Introduction
Hi everyone! I am an avid hiker, camper, and nature lover. I hope to meet a lot of new friends through this group. Hiking alone is boring! And I talk to myself, which isn't good. So I hope to meet you soon!
What is your favorite thing to do in the outdoors? (keep it rated PG, your mother might read this)
Sitting around a blazing campfire with a cup of hot chocolate roasting marshmallows on a crisp October night. :-)

What do you do for a living?
I'm a receptionist for a law firm.
What is your favorite place to hike in the Cincinnati / Tri-State area?
Hocking Hills. But since I live in Dayton, Clifton Gorge is my normal stomping ground on the weekends.
What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")
Hmm. Well, I have been hiking all my life, and some of my craziest memories come from hiking in Germantown Woods after dark with friends when I was a teenager. Probably not fit to print here, though. LOL.

This was my first outing with the group, and I can't say how impressed I was. Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming and helpful. Also, very accomodating and understanding of us "slow" hikers. :) I had a great time. Looking forward to seeing you all at Hocking Hills.
