Introduction

I really enjoy hiking and I'm happy to meet everyone.

What is your favorite thing to do in the outdoors? (keep it rated PG, your mother might read this)

Hike, bike, swim, read...

Where are you from? (if you've lived lots of places, list them)

I grew up in Lima, Ohio, and lived in Ann Arbor, Chicago, Dayton and Columbus. I was in Korea for three years and in Lviv, Ukraine for a year.

What do you do for a living?

I work for Boone County Schools as a teacher/resource specialist for English Language Learners, and teach Applied Linguistics at UC. I also teach piano in people's homes.

What is your favorite place to hike in the Cincinnati / Tri-State area?

Yellowsprings / Clifton Gorge / Rowe...I'm sure there are many more I've yet to experience.

What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")

My first real hiking experience was on Muedung Mountain in Korea. When a snowstorm erupted, I figured it would be my last. Gladly, there were many more hikes to come, and they just got better and better!
