Introduction

I really enjoy hiking and camping and would like to go a little more often. PS - In case you are wondering (and apparently some of you are) that butterfly is sitting on my hiking boot!

What is your favorite place to hike in the Cincinnati / Tri-State area?

Mt. Airy Forest - a variety of trails and it is convenient.

What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")

Profanity Trail in Vermont - aptly named! Trying to dry out our gloves in a frying pan over a camp stove in the tent in Jasper because it was snowing hard (on Sept. 1). I was a bit hypothermic from a fall in a creek with a 40 lb. backpack.
