What is your favorite thing to do in the outdoors? (keep it rated PG, your mother might read this)

I have a camper and I love to take my 4 year old son on camping trips. I would really like to get back into hiking too.

What is your favorite place to hike in the Cincinnati / Tri-State area?

Hocking Hills (especially Grandma Gatewood Trail) , Red River Gorge AKA "THE RED", Clifton Gorge, Stonelick State Park, Buzzards Roost,Shawnee State Park

What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")

A friend and I went to Colorado to camp and hike we were taking pictures and didn't realize that the camera had no film in it. Finally about 25 shots later we realized it lol!!!

The best map online is on backpackohio.com. It is actually for the backpack trail that goes around, then east of the lake. I may be able to send you a map I have made if you give me a regular email address.

Derrick - Your directions are correct - proceed about 1 mile on County Road 29 and turn into the first paved parking area on the left. You'll be below the dam and you can either take the boardwalk to the left of the dam or climb the steps up to the right, then hug the lakeshore all the way around. There is an address for the buildings you've seen near the parking area - I'll have to look it up tomorrow. Marsha
