I am joining because I am looking for the opportunity to spend time outdoors with other like-minded people.
Camping, canoeing, hiking--all are about equal for me. A few days at the beach rates up there too!
Originally from Columbus, I have lived in Chicago, IL; El Paso, TX; Mexico City; Lake Worth, FL; and landed in Cincinnati years ago.
I work for Able Graphics, a small commercial printing company in Mason.
I've really only hiked at John Bryan, East Fork, and of course, walked Sharon Woods.

Peggy, I'm very sorry I didn't see your message until Friday (this) morning. I hope you didn't drive all the way from Cincy. I had a very bad Thursday - 3 hours fixing our home computer - 2 hours on phone with Hewlet-Packard.
Rushed out of the house just in time for the hike and didn't check all the details before I left.
Welcome Peggy! Thanks for joining. See you next Wednesday evening!
Linda
Peggy...I'll be bringing my Canon SLR set up and would really appreciate some hands-on guidance on improving my photographs in the field with your expertise. Looking forward to a good last weekend before the school year restarts. Tom
Hi Peggi,
Do you mind me to stay in your tent on Saturday night
Peggy, Thank you for reminding me. I am unable to go. My aunt has lung cancer and I am taking care of her.
I really, really wanted to go. I've been missing out on this hike for three years.
Thanks, Peggy. That would be great!!!!
The hike will take about 4 hours, but we may want to take more time to take pictures. It does have some scrambling but is not difficult.
Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check with the Rangers tomorrow.
That's cool. What part of the area are you from? I actually am in Hanover Township in Butler Co. Lived here for about 10 years now and love it! :) I am saving up my money to get a more professional camera, but until then my little Canon Powershot is a good little camera. I love to walk and dig in the dirt and read (on a big Ayn Rand kick right now). Also am a movie/TV junkie....It's nice meeting you!
Sounds good!
The Indiana one is only about an hour away so you wouln't necessarily need to tak off half a day.
