I enjoy hiking, bicycling, and backpacking, though I have had little time in the last few years. Got more inolved this fall, and have now signed up as an Assistant Organizer. I will be setting up some hikes in the near future.
It would be a tossup between hiking and bicycling. I tend to hike in spring, fall, and winter, and cycle in the summer. Haven't had time for backpacking for quite a while, as I like trips of at least 4 days, preferably more. Need to get back to it.

Don't really have a favorite - I like quite a few different places. Too many for a single favorite. I live very near Rowe Woods, and go there frequently, so I guess that is my "home park". I prefer day hikes of 5 to 12 miles.
I have been doing this sort of thing for a very long time, sometimes in some pretty wild places and circumstances. Way too many to list, and I am not even not even sure I could identify THE craziest. Most stupid, maybe... Nah, better not.
"I don't stroll slowly, but neither am I into speed hiking. I like to move at a steady, moderate pace, and take time to see what is around me. I also try to move quietly enough to avoid spooking all the wildlife out of the area."
Nice people and a good variety of outings.
