What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")
Me and my friend went on a short hike and brang no food or water and it was hot out. A hard lesson was learned and not to be repeated for the next time.

Hi Lisa-
We don't rent boats for you, but we have loaners. A number of us have more than one kayak. When a paddle is announced, sign on to it and write in the notes that you're a new paddler and you need a boat and (I presume) a paddle and PFD (lifejacket). Part of our group's purpose is to accommodate new paddlers! If someone on the paddle responds, you're in. If not, try again. I have an extra boat, and I'm perfectly willing to lend it out.
