Mt. Airy Forest is a good place to train. Bee Rock in Daniel Boone National Forest is fun too.
What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")
Hiking through the swamps and pines of the Carolinas while the after effects of Hurricane Katrina hit the coast.... Wet
