Introduction

Always looking for other ways to be social. I love the outdoors (kayaking, hiking, picnicing, swimming...), dancing, theatre, comedy clubs, concerts, jazz, blues ...., Orton Gillingham tutoring ..., and socializing in new ways. So here I am.

What is your favorite thing to do in the outdoors? (keep it rated PG, your mother might read this)

full moon ... kayaking, camping, singing, telling stories, roasting marshmallows at the campfire ...

Where are you from? (if you've lived lots of places, list them)

WAY OVERKILL HERE - It was fun reminiscing though ... Lawrenceburg/Bloomington/Lake Lemon/Indianapolis,Veraustau/Aurora, Indiana, Boston/Brookline/Cleveland Circle/Brighton/Cambridge/Sommerville, Massachusetts, Snow Shoe, Vermont, Franconian Notch, New Hampshire, Ogunquit/Rockport/Penopscot Bay, Maine, Prince Edward Island, the Hamptons, Amsterdam, Brussels, Istanbul/Bursa, Lesbos/Athens, Bamberg/Freiburg/Berlin/Heidelberg, Paris/St. Molf/Strasbourg/Robertsau, Cairo, Jerusalem, Alexamdria/Cold Spring/Covington/Riverside/Owensboro, Kentucky, Kennedly Heights/Hyde Park/Mt. Washington/Westwood/Price Hill, Cincinnati, North Bend, Columbus, San Francisco, Lake Tahoe, Steamboat Springs/Vail/Keystone/Snowmass/Aspen/Boulder, Seattle, Portland ... Sounds exotic, huh? Many places I've rented, owned or housesat. Others I stayed overnight or for a week or two or three or for several months whether on land or sea. So I very literally "lived" in all of these cities and countries and more ....

What do you do for a living?

Paraprofessional Educator Orton Gillingham Tutor Public Interest Lawyer

What is your favorite place to hike in the Cincinnati / Tri-State area?

Cincinnati Nature Center, Hamilton County Parks (Winton, a favorite because of the large body of water), Hocking Hills, Clifton Gorge, Yellow Springs, Glen Ellen ...

What is your craziest hiking memory (or "have you ever been chased by a bear")

I've liked what I've seen and look forward to future hikes with these friendly people and any hike outside for me with a good group of people makes for a great connection with the outdoors and with others.

  • Hi Pamela, Now that the school year is winding down, I hope you'll be able to come to a rehearsal soon. Any Monday (but not Memorial Day) is OK with us.

  • Hello Pamela. From your profile picture you seem to enjoy the outdoors. I frequently kayak during the week and weekends and looking to meet new people to join me. Let me know if this sounds appealing and we can set something up. I look forward to hearing from you.

  • Hi Pamela, I am moving the time back to 7:30 AM instead of 6:30 as the blooms open at 8. I live in Madeira and the best way for you to go would be up I-275 to I-71. I'll Call later.

  • Hi Pamela

Yes, I'd be happy to help. I hope you took a RealGanics flyer last evening (what a great potluck!) and I do nutritional/health consulting at various levels. Through kinesiology, we can find out what's going on specifically for you, what needs doing and what should be avoided. If you want to talk about it, call me at [masked].

    Thank you, Steve Heimlich

  • Dear Pamela, thank you for joining our wonderful group! I would definitely love to have a conversation with you next time, I value so much the knowledge exchange among such a strong gathering of well being lifestyle enthusiasts. And thank you for the recipe, I'm about to post mine which is the jicama coleslaw I made. And yes, Ayurveda is a profound life philosophy. I'm not a specialist but I had to study a bit about it with my Health Counseling Degree Program. And it made a lot of sense to me.

  • Thank you for your greeting. I was very much happy to see so many Raw enthusiasts last night. I like your photo of the tree doing an arabesque.

  • Hey Pamela! I added you as a friend on Facebook. I should probably facebook more, but generally don't have time which is why there are 39 other friend requests out there :-) Hope you enjoy the potluck tonight!
